Monster TV Menu

This menu system was a solo personal project with the goal of tying all Monster TV games made during rapid prototyping into one program.

  • Scripted using Actionscript 3 and API provided by Monster Media
  • Incorporates  Monster Pain in Your Highness, Meltdown, and Space Waste
  • Two week deadline in order to show for graduate showcase
  • No previous experience with API, Meltdown or Space Waste
  • Thanks to Jen Melnick for art and Tom Mundy for menu SFX

Monster Pain In Your Highness

 

MPIYH is a game where you must help the Queen of Pie Castle defend her ample goods. On MPIYH I worked on:

  • Power up redesign
  • Scoring system redesign
  • Port from windows PC to Monster TV
  • Two week rapid prototype
  • Video includes Voice Over

Squog

Squog is a 2D platformer. Help Squog find and take down the bounty!
On this prototype I was responsible for:

  • Power ups, level, and progression design
  • Capture mechanic design
  • Entire User Interface design
  • Title screen design and implementation
  • Intro & End movie design and implementation
  • Character layer mushroom placement in AS3
  • Two week rapid prototype
  • Video includes Voice Over
