Pitch Jumper

Pitch Jumper is a 2D platformer where the level is built around and adapts to the music on your device. This is an 8 month graduate Capstone project where I have the opportunity to work extensively on many aspects of a game with larger scope. A musical analysis is performed both before and during game play to affect the level, mechanics, and even Coda, the player's character. Producers have worked tirelessly with the programming team to constantly refine the analysis so it will work with any song that user chooses from their device. CryEngine

MShooter

M Shooter is a top down shooter that switches back and forth to side scrolling shooter. This is a student project at FIEA using the non-commercial license of CryEngine 3. The game is being made using CryEngine's Sandbox editor with a mix of flowgraph and some lua scripting.

 All models were made by the artists in my class. I took the unmodified maya scenes and made them complient to CryEngine using their maya plugin and brought them into the sandbox editor. Textures for the models are also unchanged and converted using the CryTif plugin for photoshop.

Menus are made in flash and available in the editor by way of scaleform v3.3.93, which only supports actionscript 2.

This was originally a solo class assignment in which we gave an update every week and cuts were made. After four weeks a fellow producer, Phil Wilkes,  from a discontinued game joined me and together we survived the remaining four weeks. MShooter won the 'First Penguin', a class award for being the most risky if not always successful.
